Ah, Princess Leave-‘Em-Hanging! “Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of Button Bird Designs.” Now that I think about it, blogs are kind of like soap operas. I’ve been coming back to some of them for 5+ years because I don’t want to miss the next episode in home decorating and thrifting!

Laura that is so funny you say that. I read this piece about how these days women spend their free time on blogs when years ago it was soaps!! I was the biggest Days fan! We use to schedule our classes around that show in college!!

Wow! The lamp looks amazing – you sure know how to work some spray paint magic! It looks a lot like a lamp my granny had in her house. Love it!

Love the lamp and restoration you did on it or maybe we should call it an updoo? I love these paints, when modernizing my newly widowed Mom’s new condo from the 70’s the gold hardware was blinding. I used the bright silver for her cabinet knobs & towel racks in the bathrooms then the brushed dark brass for door knobs and hinges. The transformation was amazing and made everything look expensive.

      Hi Tracy!
I know right!!! I used the same stuff on my hinges on my kitchen cabinets instead of having to buy all new and it was an amazing “updoo”!!!
