This is my girl, Lilly Jane. I love her. Of course I do, she’s my daughter. But I realllllllllly love her. She’s such a unique, beautiful, free spirit, amazing little carefree soul. At almost 12 she would rather be barefoot climbing a tree, playing man hunt with all the neighborhood kids, or organizing a lemonade stand, than shopping, talking on the phone, or wearing cute clothes. The girl lives outside. Sometime I MAKE her watch t.v. just so she will chill out. We’ve definitely had our hands full with this one. She is sooooo awesome but also my hard one. Remember this? She has dealt with anxiety, being held back in school, and me as a mom! hahahaha She’s a fighter and I want to be like her when I grow up.
So why am I sharing my love for my daughter? This summer Lilly and I are going to do something soooooo outside our box, soooo outside our comfort zone. I just turned 40 and it’s time to shakes things up a bit and I’m taking my daughter along for the ride! We are going on a mission trip with our church to Honduras in July. We are both excited and terrified at the same time.
Lilly and I need to raise $2,700 for the trip. Yes that’s a lot of money. Luckily I have a lot of stuff that I need and want to get rid of. Another thing with turning 40….I want to simplify everything in my life. So Lilly and I are having an ART, HOME ACCESSORIES, and CLOTHING SALE!!!!!!! All money raised at the sale will go towards funding our missions trip to Honduras!
Here are a few things we will be selling…..
Tons of art that I have collected over the years. I’m only keeping my absolute favorite pieces and everything else is up for grabs!! Art from galleries and boutiques, art from flea markets and thrift stores, and art that I have created.
Some of this stuff! Since I’ve been working at the redesign company, I just haven’t had time to keep up with my spaces at 32 Flavors Boutique and Sanctuary of Davidson. I’ve pulled everything out of both shops and selling it cheap.
Prices will be a little more than a normal yard sale pricing but nothing like mall shopping. I have to raise $2,700.00 people!!! So if you would like to help send Lilly and I on a mission trip to Honduras and buy fun cute stuff at the same time, this is your sale!!!!!!!! Hope to see you at my house next Saturday!
